At Aims Academy, we hold in high regard the partnership between our institution and the parents, families, community, and referrers. I am deeply invested in fostering the wellbeing of our pupils, their families, as well as our dedicated staff and governors. Our dedicated team, made up of qualified and passionate educators, brings this vision to life. They specialise in outdoor learning, covering areas such as animal care, adventure activities, environmental studies, and gardening projects. This curriculum component has been thoughtfully created by our staff to enrich our students' learning journeys. By moving beyond traditional classroom walls, we aim to make education more engaging and impactful.
We recognise the importance of connecting our students with nature. By introducing them to outdoor activities and opportunities to interact with animals, we challenge them to step out of their comfort zones.

Aims Academy: British Values
Aims Academy promotes British Values throughout our academy and within our curriculum.
The British Values are:
Lord Nash emphasises the importance of education in shaping individuals who are respectful, tolerant, and well-rounded members of society, irrespective of their backgrounds. He advocates for schools to instil fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect for diverse faiths and beliefs. This approach aims to prepare young people for life in contemporary Britain, underlining the significance of respect in their development.
At Aims Academy, pupils are taught the significance of participating in the democratic process, the legal protection of religious freedom, the importance of accepting and tolerating diverse faiths and beliefs, and the necessity of identifying and combating discrimination.
Aims Academy: SEN Provision
Aims Academy specialises in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs and those with low-level aspects of Autism through a team of trained and experienced staff. The academy provides an engaging, adaptable, and holistic curriculum tailored for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Utilising a proven support approach—Assess, Plan, Do, Review—the academy identifies students' needs, plans provision to meet their aspirations, implements the necessary support, and regularly reviews progress and support effectiveness.
